So I'm making #40002 and I'm using the flat alpha technique but, the black part of his eye is still sticking up like I'm using the normal technique and idk what to dooooo

I have this problem all the time too 🤣 I usually just redo the whole knot (sometimes the row which is annoying) and tug at the base string a bit when i start to notice the last working string poking up. I'm new to the flat alpha so I go pretty slowly.

@geelaa488 ik this is really fast but i just happened to refresh as u said that, but anyways this doesn't usually happen when I make alphas its pretty much just this one idk whats up, but the black string is a little bit thicker than the other colors so that might be the problem

No it's fine I replied fast too, but i think your on to something if it's thicker. Even 1mm thicker than the rest makes a huge difference in how well your pattern comes out. It might still look cool as 3d eyes. You could always say it was on purpose 👍

@geelaa488 ya understatement of the century, half a know with the black string is almost a full know with my other colors but im too far to start over so im just gonna deal with it, also thx for the help.

It might be the thickness of the thread, which could result in it being a hit pushed out. Just finish the bracelet and then pile a bunch of heavy books on top. If that doesn’t work I have more stuff you could try

Hi, I would keep my knots loose, and even, that way some are not tighter than others. I would also be careful around color-switches. They can be pretty tricky sometimes. Also, for future reference, I would use the same brand of string for the bracelet. That way, the thickness of the embroidery floss is the same. 😊
