Okay, so I can do any alpha pattern and it would look great, but I literally can't make the simplest normal patterns. When doing normal patterns the bracelet always looks not how it should look. What am I doing wrong?

Try looking through the tutorials for help. Look for a tutorial of pattern 1.

It took me a long time to perfect my normal pattern bracelets. The best advice I can give you is practice! Also, be sure you're not rushing. Take time to make your knots nice. 🙂 Good luck!!

I've been bracelet making for two years now and I have to say it does take a ton of patience and time but remember bracelet making is fun and messing up is normal to do in the beginning. I've messed up where I couldn't continue the bracelet and had to get rid of so much string. I mean you can only get better 🙂

That's how you can tell that you put hard work into it there's no denying that it's hand made that way. Keep up the hard work 🙂

I’ve found the best way is to do your first knot tightish so it gently pulls the other strings then do you second knot over the top with elegance and care (not too tight)
