Go to the “patterns” section on the top of the screen, and you can scroll through the patterns, or, you can change the type patterns that you look through by typing in keywords of the type of design that you want. You can choose to look through just one type of pattern. You can also make a string limit so you only look through patterns that have a certain amount of strings. There are some more ways to limit your search but those are the ones I most frequently use. Hope this helps!

Do you mean like a category? If so then you can put in keywords.

If you mean inspiration maybe look at other patterns or real photos. You could try the new feature where you can turn a photo into a pattern (it doesn’t always look god though). If you mean where can I find good patterns to make try using keywords of things that you like. For example hearts, sparkles, aesthetic ✨, butterflies, shiny, stars, Chevron, lines, etc! Hope this helps! @ me if you need me to explain things a different way 😊

You could for example make patterns for your favourite book, movie, show, animal, food etc. You can also make patterns for a specific season, month, year or holiday. What you could also take a look at is what's popular at the moment. There are always trends for patterns that get created a lot like for example license plate patterns a few weeks ago or among us patterns last year. You can also offer to design patterns for others. Maybe you get inspired from the requests others have for you. |

Ya, I look at photos online. (For when making alpha patterns.)

For normal patterns my inspiration often comes from looking at other patterns and wondering how they would look with some alterations 🙂 I'm also sometimes figuring something cool out and then I make a whole seriesLike I said I also take into consideration what's popular. I've for example also made license plate patterns and among us patterns. Basically everything I've said before I also use as an inspiration myself 😄 |

I usually make patterns base on my hobbies, like mostly from the books I read, but sometimes people request me to do some patterns, so that's one of the things I made. Also, mostly all the time, I go to the web and searched up the theme of the pattern I kind of have in mind, once I decided, I usually make patterns base on a picture. Lol, I hope I'm not that confusing at explaining this 😂 |

@knot_maker Ok, but I usually have a hard time making it look nice and with the actual picture. I usually use the web.

Sometimes, you know, I kind of make the picture parts, like the similar colors to one single colors, and that's how I usually make my patterns, also, let's say, black in a picture, I use a bright red at first so I know the "block" and once I got the others ready, I change the color (the red) back to black, I did this so it's looks more like a picture. The generator make the pattern looks so "not like" a pattern because if you make it small and squint at it, it's actually a picture, but it doesn't looks like it if you make it real big.
