Hi! So I know metallic string is scratchy when you wear it, is it the same with alize sparkly string?

I’ve never tried Alize, but I use Lion Brand Yarn Summer Nights, which is pretty similar other to Alize. The only difference is that it’s sparkly and multicolored. I don’t really wear my bracelets, but when I tried on the bracelet I made with the Summer Nights, it felt a little itchy, but not unbearable. It could also be because I used some glue on the back because it was really messy.

I also haven't tried Alize yarns either, but going by the fact that Alize is a microfibre yarn and I have worked with those types of yarns, then it shouldn't give off that texture. It should feel really soft and almost silk like.

Alize forever Simli has a thin metallic fragment wrapped around the normal strand. I personally have never felt it be scratchy for me. It is actually really soft

i know that masha knots uses this thread so i'm sure it is good quality because she seems to like it. also if anyone does have this thread is it the same thickness as DMC?
