Hi, I recommend checking out some tutorials on YouTube
Good channels are for example MashaKnots or Alex's Innovations
If you are on the website Masha's videos on reading patterns are also attached to each pattern

So basically you have straight lines in the pattern

That are rows so you have to follow the rows and do the knot that it tells you once you get to the end of the row the last knot is a forward backward do that knot twice then skip the first knot of the next row and repeat this step. When it comes time to switch your colors here is what you do. Tape your new string to the bracelet. For backward knot rows you would tape it to the right and for forward knot rows you would tape it to the left. Put your string you are knotting with up. Then do the first half or your required knot. Then you put the string you were knotting with previously under the bracelet and over the base string you are knotting on to. Then take your other string and do the other half of your knot. Make sure you keep the other string on top. After that, put your string that you were knotting with before you switched colors to the back of your bracelet. For more details on alphas, like how to do a color switch on the edge of your bracelet, watch Masha Knots video. Hope this helps!😊
