I just started bracelet making a few days ago and was wondering how do you choose the best brand string wise? I don't know much and really appreciate your help!!!🙂

I prefer to use Iris (since it is high quality and affordable), but from what I've heard, DMC is the best. It is a bit pricey, but I've heard it's great!

I use DMC embroidery floss, and it's served me well. DMC seems to have a couple of different brands of thread that are specifically for crafts/bracelet making. They sometimes have a different texture, and they are sold in packages.

DMC all the way. It's got a very slight shine to it, which I think is pretty. I'll use whatever I have though, because people often give me embroidery floss. DMC is best when I need a very specific color, since it's sold individually and they have a to of colors.

I just use 100% cotton thread. It comes in balls of like 125 meters, so i can make lots of bracelets. They're also pretty cheap and the result is soft

You can also order off amazon. But me personally I prefer DMC. But Walmart has also no name thread which is amazing 🙂

I like DMC or Iris. I don’t like the kind that looks like it’s twisted because it feels odd to me and breaks easily. Anything that is 6-thread and nontwisted really.

I use DMC floss the most but a cheaper option is J&P Coats. 🙂

Definitely love DMC!! I find that with some other brands when you tie knots the string breaks but dmc never does

I personally like Mira thread because it comes in big packs (with multiples of colors as well) and has really pretty bright colors!(it also comes with a free set of needles and threader for embroidery)
