Hi! Is it possible to say what part of your alpha doesnt turn out right? Like the rows are wonky or the edges arent straight, etc

Hi! So alphas are very difficult at first and take some time to start getting the hang of so be patent and DONT GIVE UP!!! If I could show you my old bracelets I would cause they are really bad. But anyways, I recommend watching Masha Knots videos. She has some very helpful Alpha tips. Just look up "Masha Knots Alpha" and some stuff should come up. Happy knotting!!!

I’d suggest using the flat alpha and straight edges techniques. There are videos for those on YouTube if you search them up

Hello! I would try loosening up my knots. That keeps the rows very straight and even, and the knots really pretty. Also, using a ruler, any other straight edge, or your fingernail to push up the knots, really helps. When your knots are tighter, you cannot push them up and keep the rows straight, as you would if they were looser. I would suggest watching Alex's Innovations' video on alpha tips and tricks.Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff7rwAP9jvI Hope this helps! Happy knotting! 😄 |

@PotatoPeel When i start the bracelet, the knots end up really far apart from each other and then when i do the knots tighter, they start to fold behind the bracelet and its a mess.

Try using the flat alpha technique, it really helps. As for your knots, loosen them up!! Thats how i got my alphas to look okay! (Im saying okay, cuz i know there is always room for improvement!)And remember, practice practice practice! Its gonna look wonky at first, and thats okay! I really struggle with alphas and I dont enjoy them as much, but i keep making them because i know that if it gets any better im probably gonna have so much fun. Normals have always been my thing, but i really hope this helped anyway! Alpha tips and tricks, a video that alex's innovation made, is probably the one that helped me the most! |
