Im really having a difficulty in doing pattern #2285It really looks easy and i know all the knots and know how to do the chevron. But i really don’t know how to do it😅 or to be specific how to start with it. I watched some videos who did the bracelet but still🥺 |

Ok so u can go two ways for this1 row by row 2 segment knot I’ll explain both and give u a standard idea of how I would do it On row by row I usually start all my bracelets but putting strings in order than taping it down with about 6 inches of extra string at the top for my ties. Once they are in this place meant u start knotting from left to right. Get ur first colored string and make a knot onto ur other one. So like the pattern shows, purple forward knot on orange string Then make a forward knot with ur yellow string onto ur other yellow string Then a forward orange knot onto purple. The bake a backward knot with ur white onto the middle white. Do this for the rest of white string on that row Continue doing this on each row |

I would personally do Knot with ur orange string onto ur purple string (f knot) (B knot) ur white onto ur other white. Then do a forward knot in the middle from the purple onto white Then get ur yellow pair on the left and do forward knots with the outer yellow onto the inner yellow, purple and white string. Then get ur white string on the right and do backward knots onto both white closest to the center Then do a forward knot with ur yellow onto white in the middle. |

The pattern is almost like the regular chevron. The only difference is the middle knot. In a regular chevron it doesn't matter what knot you do in the middle because the middle knot is between two strings of the same colour. In this pattern the middle knot is always between a coloured string and a white string. The middle knot always has to be a knot with the coloured string onto the white string.

looking at the pattern you are trying to do, i think a good way to start it would be a teardrop loop. masha knots does the perfect video for this. there is three videos i watched to make loops before making this bracelet myself, first i watched this one ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AFoA78pVr0&t=470s ) which is just how to do a basic loop so i understood how to do it, then i watched this one ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPcpD-i2D0U ) which is how to make a teardrop loop specifically so i then understood that. after watching those videos i then watched this one ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IyGiKsjNJM ) which is how to make a tear drop loop when one side of your strings is different to the other if you understand what i mean? then i just made it following the pattern in the v shape like i would a chevron! hopefully this helps, let me know if i can help more 🙂
