With your knotting string make a backwards facing four, loops your knotting string around the string you are knotting on to, thread your knotting string through the hole, then pull up to tighten. Hope this helps!! It's kind of confusing

you make a backwards four(the opposite way you would do the forward knot) with the string your knitting with and then you pull the string through the hole in the four. it’s kinda hard to explain so you can go on kinsey b on youtube and she has a tutorial on all the knots
