gp0201 Bracelet King	4 years ago by gp0201 So I really want black sparkle thread to make bracelets with but I can’t find any that is close in width to embroidery thread. Does anyone know any brands of thread or yarn that would be close to normal embroidery thread?
oceanknot Bracelet King	4 years ago by oceanknot I’ve seen people use Alize , but I think it’s only sold in some countries, so you have to buy it online. Masha Knots uses black Alize sparkly thread all the time in her bracelets and they look like the same thickness

jadeflwr13 Bracelet King	4 years ago by jadeflwr13 dmc has some great options, there’s the dmc etoile floss in black. the price can be a little more or less depending on where you buy it, in the craft store i go to it’s $1.95. you can also find the alize yarn like mentioned above, but from what i’ve heard it isn’t the easiest to find sometimes. i also use a thinner crochet thread brand sometimes which is kind of a similar thickness. the two i know of that could have it are aunt lydias and the artiste brand crochet threads, i know artiste has metallic crochet thread but im not entirely sure about a sparkly black
baublesbyb Bracelet King	4 years ago by baublesbyb I have tried both the DMC Etoile and Artiste crochet thread size #10 mentioned above. On the skien, etoile looks different, but the knots are the same and I look forward to doing more projects with it! More recently, I used #10 gold crochet thread and it worked fine. I removed a single thread from the regular floss I used for another color and knotted looser with the crochet thread to even the knot size. It's okay, but I think the etoile is better.
