So I am making #63719 and #43962 and I was wondering how many rows on an alpha bracelet is about the right size for an average bracelet. I want them to fit my wrist well, but I don't know how many rows (since one says 77 and the other says 60) I need to add so I can center each bracelet. How many rows on an alpha bracelet do you prefer?

For #49362 I would do 10 rows then the pattern then another 10 rows that should be a good start and then ending with ties (or whatever closures you want) should be a good size

For the 63719 I would say 15 rows then design then 15 rows

Once you make a couple of alpha bracelets you could measure the bracelets and count the rows (so for example 15 rows could be one inch so to get a bracelet that’s 6 inches you’ll need to knot 90 rows) obviously this differs with knot tightness so sometimes it could be 20 knots for one inch or 10 knots for one inch. Hope this helps!
