how to know the length of each thread and color?

I tend to cut my strings about 1 metre. If I'm making a loop then I will make a 2 metre length so I can fold the string over and add about 10 cm to the colour that I am making the loop. However this is just what I do, the length that you cut your strings will vary on how long you are planning to make the bracelet. It can also vary on how many knots the string makes. You will find over time and many bracelets a length that works for you.

I believe the answer can be found in the FAQ section of the website but I usually cut them about my wingspan. Always remember if you are using a certain color a lot, cut it much longer. Also I’m assuming you mean for normals.
