It depends on what patturn I use but I’ve found that if I use the same color in too many rows of the bracelet the colors separate from eachother and NOONE else seems to have this problems because I can’t find it anywhere. Am I doing something wrong?

Wdym? Like let’s say u were doing knots on the 4 left string of ur alpha with just pink and the rest were just white. Is that what u mean by them separating?

@allialexis Yeah so like if the pattern has like 5 or 6 strings that are same in one row like if one column was white then blue then white for the rest. And vise versa, eventually i get like 6 blue strings in a row and they don’t connect back to the white strings.

I recommend using the flat alpha technique. It helps keep the bracelet connected and gives a smoother appearance.

I hope I understand correctly... Do you use the flat edges method to switch colors? That can help keep it together as it weaves the colors together. Otherwise, maybe working on tension may help?

Yea so like how they both said, use the flat alpha technique. I have this problem as well because I don’t use the flat alpha technique, but it’ll make ur bracelets look cleaner and solve this problem 😄

Use the flat alpha technique because it pulls the strings together.

I know exactly what you are talking about, and I use the flat alpha technique. It helps me to make sure that there is at least one knot on each side using the background string (not added colours), this kinda pulls everything back together. Lol hopefully that makes sense. ❤️
