How and what beginning/endings do i use when I cant make a loop?

I'm a bit confused on which beginnings/ endings to use when I cant make a loop or there is only one string of that color. pls help

You could do triangle ends and just braid/do twisted ties on the ends of your bracelet. Here’s a video that also explains what to do if you have an odd number of colors. https://youtu.be/_IyGiKsjNJM

You can make two triangle ends or you can do a regular loop, so just make a knot and start your bracelet. You'll want your bracelet to be mirrored so you can get an actual loop at the top. 🙂

You can always make a loop, but you can also make ties or braids coming off of both ends. Try experimenting with which style you like best.
