How to do Straight Edged Technique-Normal patterns

Hey guys, I’m not exactly a beginner at friendship bracelets but I’ve noticed that lot of my recent bracelets have been coming out wonky! (I’m trying to use this technique for normal bracelets, not alphas just for your reference!) I found Masha Knots tutorial on YouTube for this technique, and I understand how she just changed the first pattern’s knots to bf/fb knots due to the fact that the knots were on the same colour strings. I got a bit stuck on the second part however, when she tried to explain how to do this with another pattern. I’m currently trying to add the extra strings to a pattern like she said, but I’m really confused so if there’s anyone who does something different or knows how to do this please answer! Thanks!! |

Hi! The second pattern in the tutorial is just like the first one except the bf/fb knots are done when you see the < or > at the outside of the pattern. (those lines that you see at the end and beginning of a row) I hope this helps a little if you have more questions you can always tag me 🙂
