Just all alphas. It's the color switch and base strings and all that mumbo jumbo. I have been making bracelets for a while but I recently got on BB. I see pics and the ties dont have the colors of the bracelet in them. I don't get it. Are you supposed to enter leading strings live rag rug bracelets?

alphas and normal bracelets are different on normal patterns you have the ties the same color but on alphas, they can be any color but you can but it the same color as a choice

The base strings are usually not visible in an alpha bracelet because you only knot with the leading strings. The base strings are only visible in the ties. Does this answer your question?

when making alphas, you are basically weaving strings onto your base strings, which is why you can’t see the colors used in the bracelet in the ties (unless of course the person who made the bracelet made the base strings the same color). and yeah, with rag rug bracelets it’s the same concept as with alphas, just you’re doing one color per row and cutting the ends off. you can find basic tutorials on alphas, as well as tutorials on the straight edges and flat alpha techniques, which make alphas turn out straighter and less funky on the edges
