why are my bracelets coming out narrow?

hi! so for some reason when i make a bracelet, they always come out much more narrow than in pictures of other's. does anyone have an ideas as to why this happens?

It’s most likely the thickness of the string you’re using. I used to use craft thread, but when I switched to embroidery floss, I noticed my bracelets were thicker Than before.

You could try loosening your knots you don’t want them too tight or your bracelets will be very narrow but it could also be the string you use. I hope this helps!
