How do I change the amount of strings I want in my pattern when I am creating a new one?

@briforever You should see a button next to save and test that says submit to site.

@Sulfrik you need to click the check box by where you enter in your keywords that says something about copyright etc.

@bruhitandi if you clicked the "submit to site" button below your pattern after you finished working on it, it has been submitted to our moderating team to be reviewed, and should no longer appear in your "create patterns" screen. We will review it, and you should get an accept/decline message within a day or two.

Hey I’m trying to put keywords on my pattern and when I type them out and press go only two of them show up,what should I do?

@mcfroggy for example colours and some other commonly used words that are not really useful when describing a pattern automatically get removed so we don't need to decline the pattern for them being there. You will need to come up with different keywords then. Think about what you would search for if you were searching for a pattern like your pattern. 😄

Does it usually take a day to find my alpha pattern?

It was accepted, I'm just trying to find it so I can print it out and start working on it.

thanks

@Roxy42 usually I submit mine in the evening and when I wake up the next morning, they are either approved or declined, so I’d say just wait over night and see! I wouldn’t expect more than a twelve hour wait.

@balletbri Roll your mouse over your username on the top of the page in orange. Click on the create patterns button. (It's a plus sign in a circle.) From there, choose whether you want to make an alpha or normal pattern, and play around to learn how!

@Charis While making an alpha pattern, you can upload an image by selecting a file to turn it into a pattern, which you can tweak later.

@annacono76 yes, there are a bunch of YouTube videos on both alpha and normal patterns. Just search for "how to read normal/alpha patterns" on YouTube
