help with alpha switches!

I'm making the alpha pattern #24784. on row 35 to 36 there is a colour switch on the edge from the colours green to yellow. I have doing the flat alpha and straight edge technique and I don't know for to do that colour switch. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could explain how to do it! Thank you xx 🙂

In this video https://youtu.be/_YVFAX9sacw , Masha explains how to do an edge color switch at the 18:33 minute mark. You basically do a normal color switch on the edge without using the flat alpha technique.

If you wnat a simple exlaination without needing to watch a video here it is: on the edges if you use the flat alpha technique the old leading string will show on the edges/stick out, simply do not use the flat alpha color switch on the edges to prevent this. This means do not put your old leading string through the new one, put it away and knot with the new one. Then once you are done on the edge you can continue using the flat alpha color switch.
