Here are some tips that might help 😊Here are my two tutorials for Normal patterns: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HolYORv9P8E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_2uZ1RQ5Jc I recommend starting with a 12 string pattern when learning to make a Normal pattern because there are enough strings that you can actually see a design, but not too many strings that make it hard for beginners. You can make the pattern easier by using less colors. I always start with a basic/simple base pattern like: #26192 #2146 #1516 #18 #1673 I then add things like diamonds/zigzag/lines/dots/squares, and play around with the different elements by adding/taking away things. I look at patterns that already exist and see how these elements are made. I recommend saving your base pattern as a couple patterns, so if you don’t like how your pattern looks, you don’t lose all your work, you can just go to your other patterns and start again. Make sure to pay attention to the top of the screen where there are warnings. I usually don’t worry if it saying the top strings don’t match the bottom strings until I’m done with my pattern. The easiest way to make the strings match is to copy the pattern’s code and paste it under itself, save and preview. If the strings still don’t match, just repeat this step again, and so on. I also recommend making some of these basic patterns that you want to use for your patterns, because it really helps you learn and visualize how the knot structure works, and making designing easier. |

You don’t need the app because you can not create patterns on the app so go to the website BraceletBook.com and click on your username and you will see options. The options will be todos, loves, logout and creat patterns. Make sure to click on create patterns. Then you will see either alpha pattern at the bottom or normal pattern on the top. I’ve Only ever created an alpha pattern so I am going to tell you how to create an alpha pattern. Ok so press alpha and there will be a pattern already on there and it says alpha in orange and the background is black. Now you can make the pattern wider or longer depending on what you want. Ok then you can start to creat your pattern and change the colors. I recommend something easy for you first few times maybe something like a smiley face or a hart. Then if you don’t like what you have created press delete and if you like it press save and test. If you want people to see your pattern then press I think submit but remember if you press submit you can not see you pattern until a mod (moderater) approves you pattern. And if you press delete no one can see it not even you. And if you press save and test then you can see it but I am not sure if the mods can see it. Sorry this was so long and sorry if this didn’t help But hope this helps |

Oh also if you do submit some this make sure you have key words that go with the pattern so like if you have a smiley face pattern the put something like smiley face happy yellow. The mods want at least 4 or more keywords
