How do you make one? I've never made one? How do you attach strings to them? 🤔

ok, thank you! I actually watch Masha Knots. But I don't watch her alpha videos.

Try learning name bracelets first. Once you do that try doing one with 2-3 colors in the actual alpha technique.

when making your first alpha, try one with only two colours. name bracelets as someone else suggested are also a really good way to learn. try using lots of different font patterns to help you get comfortable with lots of shapes. feel free to raid my todos, i have a lot of good patterns for beginners there ❤️

It is pretty easy, you basically have to make a pattern using the letters like b,c,d,etc. which are just representations of the colors as they increase.Example: ------------------------------------------- ------bbbbbbbbb---bbbbb----bbbbb-- ------------b--------b------b---b-----b-- (here it looks a bit weird but while making the pattern it looks better) ------------b--------bbbbbb---bbbbb--- ------------b--------b------b---b--------- ------------b--------b------b---b--------- You can create multiple colors for your pattern using the small white box next to the two colors already given. |

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask my question, but the pattern in question is an alpha, so.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ok. I'm planning to make pattern #35919, but I'm not sure if I should make it as a wall hanging or as an alpha bracelet. Any thoughts? 🤔 |

i think that you should watch a masha knots video on alpha patterns. i also suggest making the vertical wave bracelet that kinsey b has a youtube video on. kinsey b also has a tutorial on name bracelets which are very simple alphas. also if you've never made a bracelet before then maybe don't start with alphas. you could start with simple normal patterns like #1 #2 #9 and #18

I just made my first alpha and finished it today. I used only two colours, so I didn't need to add in any strings. Once you feel comfortable with two colours I suggest making a pattern with more. ❤️

Hi again. 🙂 I'm going to make Pattern #15234. I saw the Masha Knots tutorial for it, and I was wondering how do I make a loop for an alpha bracelet? |

@TidalWave Kinsey B has a tutorial for alpha triangle ends/loop and she even uses that same pattern. Here’s the link https://youtu.be/_RRUfP1uvro
