You have to level up to bracelet king and be active on the site. Then I believe after a while if the admin like recognizes you being a key point on the site then I believe they ask if you want to be a moderator. I’m not one myself (obvs 😂) but I have seen many of there types of questions answered

I know I’m missing some other elements on what they look for in a moderator and they qualifications but I’m pretty sure that’s the base line of it

to become a moderator, the basic qualifications are you have to be at least around 17 years old, be bracelet king, and be very active, helpful, and positive on bracelet book. here is the process taken from the faq's section on the website:"We have a pretty extensive set of rules when it comes to choosing a new moderator to the website. The first step in the right direction is you getting noticed by one of the members of our team for being helpful to the community for an extensive period of time, or having a great profile with a lot of great patterns, photos, etc. It also helps a lot if you're a long-time user, or a well known member of the community and are tying bracelets for a longer period of time. If you'll get noticed, you'll be added to the list of potential moderators, which we always use when looking for a new addition. All our admins and moderators then get a chance to vote for one or more users from that list, and the winner then has the opportunity to join our team." so basically, if you post a lot of content (photos, patterns, variations) and are helpful on the site (through forums, tutorials, comments, chat), admin may include you in his list of potential moderators, and when it comes time to add a new person, the current mods and admin vote. whoever gets the most votes will be the new moderator. hope that helps! 🙂 |
