Okay so why do my bracelets take so long? Also something that I do while making bracelets is listen to music or sometimes watch Netflix. I use a sewing needle to get out knots so ya do whatever here!

It naturally just takes long to knot! Give me a pattern example and tell me how long it takes you to make. I’ll tell you if it’s a normal time.

i think friendship bracelets are generally just one of those hobbies that take ages haha! also, speaking of untying knots, i found that an awl is like, the best knot-undoer ever! the comfy handles sold me 😂 and they're quite long, which i find helps!

i would say as long as im motivated, bracelets really don’t take me more than a day to finish, being home all day and such lol. also i use a safety pin to remove knots <3

Just normal patterns for me take around 3 days but when i switched to a clip board instead of tape it helped me get a move on with my bracelets this is only because i would hurt my back bending down like that for so long but with a clip board u can be very adjustable when making bracelets

@knot2339 I think it's just the nature of the hobby! When you do the math (I know, I'm a bit of a nerd), some patterns have over 1,000 knots in them, and making that many knots is going to take time! I hope this helps ❤️

I feel with practise I have gotten much faster at making bracelets. In general, they take a long time to make but over time knotting will probably get faster.

You get faster over time, but I also found that patterns that I really took to only take me a bit (maybe 6-8 hours) versus just patterns I made when I was bored (1-2 days). It's just different for everyone.
