Hi so i use masha’s video tutorial only and i also use her straight flat edges on the alpa. But when i started knotting my first alpha bracelet i used her straight edge technique but it wasn’t straight sometimes curvy and so. And i think maybe it is because the way i am knotting it. I knot it by a pin and a pillow and start knotting. So I don’t know if it is because the way i am knotting. So can you please suggest any ideas how to make it straight. Should i knot in an another way? Idk I would really appreciate if you would help me

Hi, first of all a question to make sure that you are not making a common mistake that many make when doing the straight edges technique on alphas: are you making 2 bf or fb knots right after each other? If you are only doing 1 you are missing knots and this could be the reason if your edges aren't smooth. When knotting make sure that you are pulling your bracelet straight down and not to the side. Another reason for an uneven bracelet could be string of different thickness being used as the leading string. |

U can try and make your knots a lot looser when u do that u can easily manipulate the position of the knot with a ruler or your fingernails.😁

I usually put tape across on the pillow to just to have extra structure
