How do I add colors when i am making a pattern?

Hi i am making a pattern and I don't know how I add colors. When I look to my colors it says I have 2 and I want more. But when I look to the side of my colors it says nothing about adding them.

You just have to add a color to the part that says “ffffff” . There is no add color button, you just have to click on the blank space next to the other colors and drag the color that you want.

For a normal pattern you add the colours in "colors used" and then you have to write the letter corresponding with this color into "colors order". If you want to for example use 3 colours you have to put the first three letters of the alphabet into "colors order". "colors order" determines the order in which the strings are at the beginning of a normal pattern.For an alpha pattern there are different options. If you are in "alpha from image" you have to select the amount of colours you want to use in "number of colors". If you are in "draw alpha" you add the new colour in the "using color" box. Then you can draw with this colour. Before you go to "alpha" you have to click "safe" in order for you to keep the changes you made in "draw alpha".
