I made an alpha ornament for my Christmas tree using white, black, and blue thread (white and black are the main color, it is mostly a white background with black text). After a few days on my tree, I noticed the white changing to purple. Why did that happen, and can I fix it??

I think you can not fix it and the changing to purpl was maybe because it was wet :' or something like that

I believe it may have been the heat of the lights that caused the black to bleed onto the white; a similar thing happened to me when I made a keychain by a hot fireplace. I don’t think it can be reversed, but in the future I’d recommend avoiding placing it near a bulb. 🙁

i noticed the same thing happening when i would use white thread with a black background, the black would bleed onto the white and turn it this weird off white. i would recommend avoiding getting the ornament wet, as i found the white thread on my bracelet begin to change after i washed it

it is probably purple because you had something purple on your hands, and I don't know of a way to fix it, sorry.

Maybe because your hands were dirty or the places you were sitting at?
