Hey guys I am an embroidery floss girl but I recently got some loops and threads craft cord. Does it snap easily? Is it good to work with? Let me know 🙂

From my experience, it doesn’t snap easily. I like that loops and threads offers a lot of different packs of colors of craft cord and embroidery floss, but personally I prefer knotting with their floss better, which is the same price as their craft cord. I like using craft cord for my base strings because it makes my bracelets sturdy. If you look at my photo for pattern #55513 , that was the only time that I knotted with loops and threads craft cord, instead of using it for base strings, and it made my keychain have a glossy effect.

It depends on how tight you knot. For me I just find craft cord in general snaps very easy but I knot quite tight- I can hold one end of a finished bracelet and it would stand straight. So I avoid it at all costs, but people who tie a little looser seem to have no problems with it! I stick with embroidery floss 😅

I really like the loops and threads stuff as far as it not snapping. Its relatively cheap and you can pick it up at Micheals in a big bag. The only thing I've experienced with the loops and threads is that the strands fray really easily. When I'm done with my bracelets I usually hold them close to a lighter to singe off all the cat and dog (and my) hair that gets stuck too it so that usually helps with the frayed strings as well. The craft cord doesn't fray too much though. But yes, long story short I would suggest the loops and threads craft cord >_<
