Hi everyone!! This is a question for people who have done alphas before:I want to try an alpha #62817 to be exact, I was wondering if it was easy and good for people who have never done alphas before, but I was also wondering how you put strings in from the sides? The last thing I was wondering about is how long do you make alpha strings? Again I have never done this before so if you think this would be too difficult for a beginner feel free to post an easier pattern for me to try! Thanks!!! |

This is probably a good pattern to try first, unless you are doing the flat alpha technique that looks WAY better, because switching at the sides is hard for ur first time making an alpha and using the flat alpha technique. I reccomend #35480 as your first, it was my first and it turned out pretty good! Any pattern with around like 12 or 15 strings, that doesn’t have a ton of colors, color switches, and very little to no color switches on the sides if u use the flat alpha technique. Btw, you should watch masha knots alpha tutorials a few times

Also how do you rotate a alpha pattern 90 degrees to the left? I want to so I can make it attached to a jump ring. Please help!!!

If you want a pattern to be rotated you have to use the preview on top to base your knotting on. You can't rotate the knotting structure because it's picked automatically by the generator.

If you go to any alpha on bracelet book you will find a how to make deferent knots and how to make alphas click on the how to make alphas first and it will show you how to make alphas

for rotation, I just use the picture at the top, the overview!
