Im asking because I really like making these bracelets, but the Alpha ones take such a long time! Does anyone else take a long time to make the alpha patterns?

I take forever. On one pattern, it took me like two years on and off working on it. I usually work on bracelets during free time at school, so I only get s few rows a day.

I think it takes a long time because you are tying hundreds of knots to bracelet length. Patience is key!

For Normal bracelets, I used to pride myself in being able to finish one in under an hour. When I switched over to making Alpha bracelets, an average 13 string wide Alpha bracelet with only two colors in it, depending on the pattern, can take me 8-12 hours. With breaks, of course. I've never actually timed it. But yes, you are tying many more knots in an alpha bracelet than a normal bracelet, therefore, it is going to take much longer.

Yeah, the alpha patterns usually take longer.Also, if you just started making bracelets recently, it will probably take you a little longer than other people to complete a bracelet. I took a long time when I was just starting too, so it's probably normal. 🙂 |

Whenever I start going too fast in my bracelets I accidentally leave little holes in between the knots, so I would take your time 🙂

I take forever! I'm always taking my time on them. I also have a problem where I start making one bracelet, take a break, then make a different kind of bracelet. I have like 100 unfinished ones that I should really work on XD

the more you make, the faster it gets! i can finish a 10 string thick alpha bracelet in around two hours. i'll usually make them while watching tv or listening to podcasts. it helps the time go a little faster! and makes binge watching feel productive. 🙂

the ones that i usually make take 2-3 houst but some alphas took me about 20 hours of nonstop wirk, so be careful that pattern u choose xD

Yes, realistically normal bracelet patterns are 2-3 hours but sometimes I make an alpha bracelet that takes me 6 hours and there goes the rest of my day without me realizing it XD

Yes! Everyone works at I different pace, but I personally take a LONG time to ensure quality. Plus, I don't really have that much time for bracelets. 🙂

I find alphas quite quick to make, as long as I'm in the mood to be sat making it! I just stick a film on and knot without thinking too much. I just made a 15 x 80 row Alpha bracelet in just over an hour. However I'm the opposite with normal patterns - they take me forever I never have the patience to finish them.

It really just depends on the difficulty. If you are good, a basic chevron will take let’s say a half hour, while an alpha level will take a full day
