Hey, so I really want to start selling my bracelets and keychains on Etsy. I have been thinking about it for a while, and I just really want to. I am still in school, but I get good grades, and am always ontop of my work. (not trying to flex)What are ways that I could bring this up to my parents, and start doing it? I would start making them now, and then mabey start selling them later like in the spring or summer. What are things I should know before I start? What packaging do you use or is best? Pricing and pricing help? Really anything the help or any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Also, what are patterns that I should make, normal and alpha. So far I want to do chevrons, candy-stripe, fishbone chevron, braided stitch, zigzag, the wave alpha, likely dino keychains, pride bracelets. Thanks for your help! ❤️ ❤️ |

@B_ridgette Hi! I do not actually have an Etsy account but good luck in making one!! I actually tried to make one before, but the payment thing was annoying. So I gave up but I am planning on making one in the future!

@B_ridgette Oh and also I think Alex's Innovations has a few videos on her YouTube channel that might help!

@SusuKnots yes, i have watched that. I didn't find it that helpful though. 😐 I do have a pretty good idea of what I would need, but I don't know how to start or to bring it up to my family or all the patterns I want to make.

Hey! So I don’t have an Etsy shop but I know a lot of people who do. For what patterns to make I’d recommend doing more complex ones. A lot of people know how to make candy strips and chevrons and would be less likely to buy patterns like that when they can just make it themselves. As for pricing most of the Etsy shops I’ve seen sell bracelets for about $8-$12. Some people also do custom orders so that would be something to look into doing in the future. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions just ask!

Hi so I just approached my mom and asked her and she said yes. Then we took the steps to get there.

You can get good bubble mailers off of upacknship pricing can be anything you want just make sure you don’t sell yourself short. Somethings to know is if you have an ig tell them when you find out you can start one and remind them. this way you can prepare them so that they can buy the product that they have had their eye on. hope this helps

I would start by making a decent inventory, nothing too big or grand, but just take some time to make a good amount of bracelets to sell, good luck with your shop!

i know also that keychains and bracelets also sell really well when they are for a singer or band. as a fan of these artists i know fans love this type of stuff like Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, 1D, etc. Just an idea 😁
