Hi! I need help with my alpha bracelets. I have noticed that the knots that I make on the row going to the right (forward knots) always lean towards the left. The knots that I make to the left (backward knots) always lean to the right. So the rows in my alpha bracelets alternate btw leaning right and left. My goal is to make the columns look straight. I’ve seen this in my own bracelets and in others’, but I can’t find any tips for fixing the problem.

This is a little complicated to explain so idk if this’ll make sense. Please let me know if you need clarification. Thanks for the help. ❤️

Hi, it is completely normal that this is happening and I'm unsure if you can completely avoid it. I recommend experimenting with the angle you pull the leading string in when making knots. Try to see if it makes it better if you pull slightly up, straight to the side or slightly down. My feeling says you probably have to pull up a little or straight to the side.

Hi! I like to use a ruler to push up my knots, or usually since i tie fwd knots tighter than backward knots, on the left side of my alpha, i would stretch out the knots on that side a bit, but not too much so you can see the base strings.
