Make sure the first half of your knot is pulled tight before making the second half. The first half determines the placement of the knot, the second secures it in place.

Hi, keep practising and your knots will get tighter, like said, keep your first knot nice and tight. 🙂

Hi, @rumaiysali! Some suggestios I have to avoid holes is to make sure to pull your knots tight as possible without causing any issues (Ex. snapping strings, bumps on the edges of your bracelet, etc.). Practicing really helps to find your sweetspot, as far as knot tention. If practiced enough, everyone will eventually find their preferance and perfect knot tension, which will lead to a lot less holes in the future. Another recommendation is to stick a finger on top of the first half of the knot, after you make it. This holds the first half of the knot in place, so the leading strand does not slip and get too lose, therefore creating more holes. This may lead to a slower process in the overall knotting of the bracelet, but it should work, and hopefully be worth it! 🙂 I really hope this helps. Happy knotting!

over time your knot tension will change and gradually the holes will disappear. If you are using craft cord(twisted string) I recommend not yanking on the string because that may snap it.
