It usually takes more than 5 hours to get a pattern accepted, but it usually takes less than 24.

It depends when the moderators are reviewing patterns. Sometimes yours might be one of the first and sometimes you'll have to wait longer because they have a lot to review.

Yeah, some days it can take like an hour, but other days it can over 12 hours

A lot of patterns get submitted every day. We always try to get to zero patterns that need to be reviewed so sometimes you are lucky and there's no pattern currently in the queue before yours.
