How long do I cut the string? (I’ve already posted this on another forum so sorry if you see it twice)

You can calculate how long a pattern is by measuring how long a certain amount of rows is for you. Your base strings need to be the length of the pattern plus some extra for ties.For the leading strings I recommend to not cut them and just leave them on the skein. |

Most people say arm length so I tested that out and it was way to short it messed up my whole bracelet it may work for others though but I recommend it to be 4 or 3 feet long (lol sorry I have a fear of running out of string) so you always have enough string for the tie and you can use the left overs to make another bracelet using those strings its also helpful if you own a small business so you can always make more of that same bracelet

i would cut base strings a little longer than your wrist then the lead string has to be loongg to make all the rows
