Hello, I'm attempting this pattern: https://www.braceletbook.com/variations/normal/47336/ and even after looking at the tutorials on Youtube I'm still a bit confused on where to start the triangle since this is a different, asymetrical pattern. Do I start on the middle green in row 2 as the start of the triangle or in between the middle green and blue in row 1? Does it matter?

Here's what I've done so far:
I've cut all of the strings into a loop except for the odd green and blue and have used those two to make the outside loop.

So you want to do pattern #36108?

I recommend to use knot 4 in row 10 as the tip of the triangle. I recommend you draw the triangle into the pattern either in a screenshot or a print.
For the left side of the triangle you need to bring the strings in the order (as seen from the tip of the triangle): blue, green, green, green, green, green, green, blue
For the ride side you need the order: green, blue, blue, yellow, blue, blue, yellow, blue

@halokiwi your tutorial is very helpful, but just so I know I understand this (I'm very new to this): I start on the 4th knot of row 10, then the 4th and 5th knot of row 1, then 3rd, 4th and 5th knots of row 2 all the way down to row 6 in a triangle?

And in the tutorial does it mean that the colors you put on the left and right side are the lines and not the knots themselves?

Ugh sorry of course the colors are the lines before both sides come together for the knots. Please ignore the second question and just answer the first 😐 🙈
