I’m about to start pattern #30500 and I’m wondering if anyone knows how much string I should use for it?

@LottieMae I'm not sure about this, I have never made it and I am just guessing, but I would probably use around 4 or 5 feet per string if it is NOT folded in half at the top, and around 8 feet of string if it IS folded in half? It might be a bit too much but it's better to have too much string leftover than to have not enough string to finish the bracelet.

Hey!
You should use your arm span for every string you cut.

@vidhipatel I would say that too, but it's a pretty thick bracelet... Sorry I'm not trying to be rude or anything.

@SusuKnots it's ok! I'm not that great at making normal patterns, I only know the things that I have learned from Masha Knots!

If it’s a normal pattern and your doing row by row, you should cut a string that is half your wingspan for every string you need.

That bracelet looks a little thick so maybe a wingspan and a half should be enough because you would rather be that bracelet might end up being shorter than needed

@SavannaL would you say a wingspan is like a good rule of thumb for most bracelets this thickness I was hoping to make something of the same thickness
