Making normal patterns on here is a pain. I recommend you don’t do it and instead try to make alphas.

First add a color then go to the color order (with like abbababab) and add the letter of that color (if it were your third one it would be c)

We have a tutorial on designing normal patterns using graph paper that could be helpful for you.https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/34_designing-normal-patterns/ First you design it on paper and then you transcribe it into the generator. |

honestly i have no clue sorry. i have tried to make them but it is too confusing for me. i just stick to alphas because they are just pixel art.

I can barely make normal patterns I understand how to make them but coming up with ideas and then actually figuring out the knot structure is not easy. I have a huge amount of respect for the people who post like hundreds of normal patterns because I could never. (With the exception of shaped patterns since they are easy to make)
