I have some iris and now I’m having trouble finding that brand anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find it? Or how to convert the same colors to DMC?

I used to use embroidery floss and mix it with DMC! As long as both are 6 strands, you should b good to go and mix them! I haven't seen Iris in years, but from what i remember, they are the same thickness! If they are different, and not 6 strands, you can always remove a strand from the string you are working with to match the other brand! Remember, it doesn't really matter with normal patterns, but with Alphas, you want the same thickness!

Thank you! I bought mixed bags from Michaels this summer and the iris were part of the batches but now I can’t even find Iris on their site.

Here to confirm x3 that Hobby Lobby has Iris thread 🙂 Online it does not specifically say Iris thread but in store you can see their logo on the little paper-thingys that hold the thread together 🙂

Maybe look it up on amazon? Maybe they have an official website you can buy it from. Look at michaels and hobby lobby.

Thank you everyone! I was able to find my string in packs at Hobby lobby! The colors are a bit darker then my other ones but are the same number and I know they are dyed so I’ll just have to rotate the colors.

you need to know what size the thread is:> most embroidery floss are a size 25 and as long as the thread size is the same, it’s okay to mix them
