But string in bulk like in crochet thread or look at thrift stores and on places like kijiji or shop on Etsy. For $5 you can get lots of thread if you get it as crochet thread

Ahhhhh. Hobbycraft then. Last year they did packs of 36 for £12 pounds but for some reason they have disappeared and now you can only get a pack of 100 for £18, idk about the range of colours though. They do sell individual DMC threads but those are like £1. For individual DMC skeins Lovecrafts is good, at 68p or so. Probably the best deal though is threadship by DMC. It is £23.99 for a pack of 150 cotton threads, which equates to about 16p each. I haven't tried it but I would like to try it so apparently it's good so yeah. Happy knotting!

I got a bulk pack of string from amazon from the brand le paon I think (Alex innovations reviewed it in some video). The color variety was astounding and I still have a lot of it today (I bought it like 8 months ago). It’s only $20 and lasts a really long time. Only downside is that there isn’t black and white but you can get a bulk pack separately probably

If I want a specific color then I go to craft stores like michaels, and i’m pretty sure a skein is only about 80 cents! If i want some string in bulk, i would look on amazon. I also tell lots of people that I would like to get strings for the holidays, so that’s how i got a lot of mine 😉
