ok so i am going to explain this as best as i can but it is kind of confusing. so i want to add a variation of my pattern #56484 but the variation i want is using 7 colors and the original pattern uses 11. is there a way i can lower the amount of colors when making the variation without duplicating colors? i already tried to make the same pattern in these colors but it was too similar to my first one and got declined. sorry if this was confusing but hopefully someone knows what i mean and can help me.

When making variations you can change the string order. It should be right below where you change the colors.

Unfortunately not! I think that is due to not wanting variations to stray too far from the original pattern! Maybe you could ask the original creator for permission to remake the pattern using theirs as inspiration!

@Krisknots the original pattern was actually made by me but i was not able to make a version of it that wasn't too similar. thanks for trying to help though.
