how do you remove a pattern?

you cannot remove a pattern. The only person who can is an admin and they only do so if necessary/if it is a duplicate or it was accidentally accepted. I'm pretty sure it says so under the FAQ page

You don't currently seem to have any patterns (unless it's already removed). You can only remove-your own patterns -a pattern that was stolen from you |
