Hi! I’m currently doing a pattern where the color changes about every four knots (typically)
I’ve noticed its still bumpy, could that just be because I’m still relatively new at making alphas? Thx!!!!!

Also what can make your bracelet bumpy is if your strings are not knotted with the same tightness. To practice this I would do the striped rainbow bracelet or something with fewer colour switches that you get into the habit of reminding yourself about the same tightness and with that you can see if the tightness is different easier

When you pull your string under in order to color change, try not to pull it as tight, this will create bunching. Also, like others have been saying, you should check out Masha Knot´s tutorial on how to do the flat alpha technique which makes your sides straight and makes your bracelet a lot less bumpy. Hope this helps!
