if you search how to start and end keychains there is a good video by nini knots but there are loads from people like kinsey b and masha knots

Kindsey b has a good tutorial on it! If it’s a normal pattern btw, start the pattern like it is in a straight line. Hope this helps!

If you have something like a D-ring with a straight edge larks heads knots work well to attach the base strings of an alpha or attach the strings of a normal pattern to start in a straight row.If you have a ring a loop with a shaped start works well. If you want to make a double-sided keychain there's also a cool method explained in the video "how to make a keyring" by MashaKnots. |
