For my first one I just did a simple name pattern to start off easy with 2 or 3 colors!

XxRileyxX I DEFINITELY recommend #53916 by SodaPop. It doesn't have too many colour changes, and its nice and simple and small.

I actually did my first alpha yesterday and I watched a video and did it while making my bracelet and that really helped.

I might try a thinner pattern with 5-10 strings like pattern #56140. It will help you get a feel for it without jumping straight in!

#45966 was my first alpha! I finished it in a day, it was really easy, and it turned out pretty okay! It’s only 9 strings and 3 colors so it’s super beginner friendly and a great starter alpha. But if you don’t like that one, anything with less than 14 strings and around 3 or 4 colors is great for beginners.
