hi!i’ve been wanting to try a wallhanging for a while and we’re on thanksgiving break right now so i thought it would be the perfect time to start one! first off, any pattern recommendations that aren’t too gigantic or complicated for my first one? i’m pretty comfortable with alphas but never made one bigger than 25 strings... i’ve seen some cute holiday and snoopy ones i want to try but would love some suggestions! also where do you get the little wooden sticks to start them on? and also how do you secure it down to knot since it’s on a stick... lol help i’m a little confused! thanks so much! |

you can get the wooden dowels at Home Depot and I think Michaels sells them too. maybe even a dollar store. and once the strings are tied onto the wooden dowel I tape the ends of the wood down to my clipboard or desk to keep it from moving around

Wooden sticks are for teeth , you can find them everywhere 👍🏻 for a wall hanging pattern I suggest you those chopsticks, from Chinese food 🥘

#59618! I’m trying to make my first wall hanging right now too and chose this one. It isn’t seasonal or anything, but I this it’s pretty cute. 😊
