everytime i do a knot that’s second to last, when i go to the next row it makes like a curve on the edge (i do flat alpha technique)

Do you also use the straight edges technique (bf and fb knots at the edge)? You have to remember to do two bf or fb knots right after each other because you are replacing two knots with them.
