Hi! I just wanted to ask a quick question to some of you experts out there. I have been trying to make a chevron friendship bracelet, but everytime that I try to make it, there are always a lot of holes. My knots are very tight, but I just wanted to know if any of you had any advice on how to stop the holes in my bracelet.

Well definitely keep your knots tight and sometimes if you pull the string that you are doing the knot onto it will help but overall the first knot is actually the the knot that has to be the tightest so maybe make sure that there is no hole when do the first half of the knot I hope this all makes sense happy knoting 😊

You most likely make the first half of the knot tight but when you tie the second half it slips I’ve experienced this hold your knots tightly and secure when you make the second half it will help

Defently make your knots really really really tight I had the same problem at first I thought oh it’s tight enough so for the first half you want that badly to be TIGHT be cause that’s the placement knot and the next half that’s the what I call the “ knot knot” it the one that shines that one can bee looser it really does not matter I’ve noticed when you just practice the holes will slowly go away and eventually it takes time there will be no holes

Pull the first half of your knot all the way up. Then you make the second half of the knot and make sure the first half you already made doesn't slip down. The second half will secure the knot ad the first half determines its placement.

It's normal to have small holes in your bracelet. If you hold it against the light there will always be light shining through.

When you knot the 1st half on the base string, always make sure it's tight. Then when you go to make the last half of the knot make sure you never pull your leading string down. Before you actually knot it fully, make sure your 1st knot is still tight! Hope that helps!

you most likely pull at different tightnesses. you have to keep a common tightness throughout the entire bracelet

The first knot that you make has to be tight. By tight, I mean that it is close to the other knots.

Try using a clipboard! I use one and it really helps. Also, hold the bottom of your string that your tying the knot onto, and make sure that your knots are really tight and secure and close together!
