i am now following a tutorial from alex innovations but if i start like she starts then i can never get the first few rows as nice flat and tight as she does. Could it be because I knot too tightly and it warps or is it because I'm knotting too close to the start knot? I've already looked at the comments and someone has just asked the same question and someone answered and said: It usually happens when your buttons on the outside of your bracelet are too close to the start button. What I'm doing to fix the problem is knotting the whole first row and then placing the knots in a straight line. ”But I'm not really sure what she means by this. Does anyone know what she means by this or does anyone know another solution? 🙃 ( the tutorial that i folow is alex innovations thin aztec #28009 )

After you make a loop, make sure that you knot your knots in a chevron kind of thing, then make some rows. After, you could merge it back to row by row if thats how you want to knot your bracelet. Im not sure if this is what you mean by floppy, maybe if this isnt the right explanation you could message me with more detail... Its up to you
Anyways, i hope this helps!
