My alphas have strings sticking out the back and im not sure what to do with them. The back of Masha Knots' alphas are always really neat in her videos and i dont know how to get mine to be like that.

That’s completely okay! The backs of alphas will always look “messy”, that’s just the nature of the bracelet especially if you have a lot of color changes. But if you do want a “neater” look on the back you can always cut off any excess string. If your knots are relatively tight you shouldnt have a problem with anything coming undone. You can also glue or sew on fabric to hide all of the color changes on the back.

If you’re talking about strings on the back hanging loose then I’d suggest making sure that you pull the strings tightly when you’re switching colors so that it’s taught against the back and not hanging loose. You just have to make sure not to pull too tightly so you don’t warp the rest of your bracelet. I apologize if this seems confusing. At the end of the day, the more your practice and make bracelets, the easier and more natural this will all seem. You just have to practice and keep at it!

On the back of alphas they always look messy if their are strings on the back just snip them of with scissors it’s not going to undo the knots and save the spring you cut of for alphas ! 🙂
