Similar colors while making alpha bracelets

Hi! I am making alphas and I usually get decline messages because some of the colors are similar. But the thing is, most of the colors are not similar OR hard to distinguish. They are mostly different shades of the same color. ( For example : a bright yellow, and a light yellow) and I have seen a lot of patterns with many different shades of one color. I am a beginner so I don't know if this is normal or if I am missing out on something, but it's really frustrating because I like to make realistic patterns, or even if I am not making realistic patterns, ( Like a gradient) it always gets declined. Am I doing something wrong? Also, there are patterns which are reasonably declined, like ones with many very similar colors and I totally get why those are declined. But I recently submitted a fox alpha with a orangey turmeric color, and then a light pastel orange and I'm very nervous because those could possibly count as similar colors. Of course, no hate or anything like that to the moderators ( or anyone for that matter ) on BB. They really help our community 😊 I am just a little confused as to why colors in a pattern that are not similar get declined for that reason. |

I know some mods are more strict than others when accepting patterns. I would just make sure that the colors are different enough that there isnt a warning that the colors are too similar, and you should be okay. always feel free to message a mod if they declined your pattern to ask why they. you could also leave something in the review notes before you submit the pattern so that mods will see it when they are considering accepting or declining it. hope this helps.
